Shirt replacement on a paid commercial
for a known tech brand

The client came to us with a common request. They'd shot the commercial but the actor's shirt was clashing with the CG background. So we replaced 12 shots across two 90s films in full 4K.

Tracking
Every frame tracked so the replacement locks to the footage rather than sitting on top of it. Shoulders rotate, fabric shifts against the body.

Replacement
The new grey shirt placed into the plate, following every fold, crease, and occlusion of the original garment. Where the plaid shirt compressed into a fold, the grey compresses with it.
Delivery

Twelve shots across two films, brief to final 4K delivery in six days. A reshoot would have meant recalling talent, crew and the CG-lit set. Weeks rather than days.
Original plates
Everything around it had to survive untouched: the skin tones, the shadow falling across the chest, the softness of the lens.
Masking & Roto
Hand-refined masks isolate only the target element. Hair, edges, and overlaps stay intact, frame by frame, including the moments where bodies overlap.
Grade-match
Matched to the original grade so nothing reads as added. Same black point, same highlight roll-off, same grain structure carried across the replacement. Leaving everything invisible to the naked eye.
